Does your products contain SLES, EDT, SLS or any other strange chemicals?
Our Thanaka infused cosmetics are made by hand in small batches without SLS, SLES, artificial foaming agents, artificial perfume, chemicals, toxins or artificial preservatives
- No animal tested products. No animal ingredients. No ingredients tested on animals (with a cut off date in accordance with BUAV (Cruelty Free International) requirements of 1988, and for our Household Cleaning range, a cut off date of 2003). All products are Vegetarian and Vegan.
- No Genetically Modified ingredients.
- No synthetic colouring or fragrances.
- No SLES, SLS or Parabens.
- No artificial preservatives.
- No BPA plastic (and we use rPET bottles wherever possible).
- No Methylisothiazolinone (MI)

Where are the products formulated?
Truly Thanaka products are formulated in Myanmar, Thailand and United Kingdom.
Are the products tested on animals?
We do not test on animals in any country, nor do our vendors, chemists, manufacturers or formulators.
What forms of payment does Truly Thanaka accept?
We are pleased to accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards for TrulyThanaka.com orders. All payments are sent securely & encrypted to our merchant bank who processes your payment.
How do I know if my order was placed successfully?
After you place an order on TrulyThanaka.com, you will receive an email notification to the email address you provided while placing the order, confirming that we received your order.
A Client Care Specialist reviews and handles every order. The Order Confirmation email you receive does not confirm your order is being fulfilled and shipped. Once your order is fulfilled and on it’s way, we will send you a Shipment Confirmation email to confirm. If for some reason we cannot fulfill your order, a Client Care Specialist will send a follow-up email and the purchase amount will be returned to your method of payment.
Can I cancel or modify an order once it has been placed?
To cancel or modify an order, please contact us within 2 hours after the order has been placed. You may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org After the 2 hour window, we cannot guarantee the order will be immediately cancelled as it may have already been dispatched.
What is the “exclusive gift” included in every shipment?
Truly Thanaka offers an exclusive and complimentary gift with every shipment placed on the Replenishment Service, including the first. Gifts may be a travel-sized item, a small treasure from Myanmar or a new item we think you might enjoy trying; it will vary with every shipment.
